I'm in a Digital Paint class in college.
the professor has us doing 1 scenery, 1 landscape, and 1 character design or cover art.
I chose a Character Design. Im still new to my bamboo tablet, but this is what i managed to do. It need work, but I'm getting there.

I LOVE her outfit! I'm really digging the amount of detail in this. She is very simple but the way you worked the hat as a scarf makes the character more unique. I will suggest to use the solid pressure sensitive brush to make the detail in the shading more apparent. Are you lowering the opacity to the brush? That will help build up the character and look like she has weight.
But I do like the simple shading to this, reminds me of the inking style to Dragon Warrior games or other anime based games.
